Description
The Jaguar Land Group Ltd. is currently searching for an Intermediate level Mineral (w/ some Surface) Land Consultant for a one (1) year maternity leave position beginning in mid-March, 2012.
SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE DAILY MAINTENANCE AND REVIEW OF:
• Maintenance of Mineral and Surface Lease records;
• Updates to recognized & registered interests in land system;
• Updates to lands and wells in land system;
• Lease Continuations;
• Expiries;
• Review of chain of title and processing of assignments including NOA’s;
• Mineral and Surface Lease Rentals;
• Rental Reviews;
• Invoice approval; and
• Administration of Road Use Agreements.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
The successful candidates will possess the following criteria:
• Strong Mineral lease interpretation skills;
• Knowledge of Provincial Regulations, specifically Alberta & Saskatchewan;
• Good working knowledge of GeoNexus and AccuMap;
• Understanding of spacing units and production allocation;
• Attention to detail;
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills;
• Dedication to quality work;
• Must be able to manage our client's expectations in a positive manner;
• Mount Royal University or SAIT Land Administration Certificate or Diploma would be an asset; and
• Member of CAPLA and/or CAPL.
Our client is looking for an individual who works well in a small team environment.
